I would also like to highlight Librivox,
  http://librivox.org

"LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain and
release the audio files back onto the net. Our goal is to make all public
domain books available as free audio books."

  They have a poetry section,
http://librivox.org/newcatalog/search.php?cat=Poetry with many poems read
aloud.

  It is worth checking out.

Connect children with poetry! Introduce them to the Favorite Poem
Project at http://www.favoritepoem.org/index.html. Children may enjoy
reading some of the poetry that was submitted and watching videos on the
website of people, including children, reading poems.

The stories from poetry readers on this site are compelling.
This site features a teacher from Hartford, CT!
